Principal Advisor Internal and Stakeholder Communications
New Zealand Government – Wellington – Job Description We’re looking for a Principal Communications Advisor position to lead the thinking, design, development, and implementation of effective, timely and relevant communication to support the work of the Ministry, externally and internally. You’ll work closely and collaboratively with the Executive Leadership Team, Senior Leaders and Business Unit Managers to develop our internal communications planning, prioritising staff first. From time to time, there will also be work with a strong external focus. The Principal Advisor is also responsible for: upskilling the Ministry to anticipate and manage communications risks; giving people credible health and wellbeing information; and working with business units and the executive leadership team to protect and enhance our reputation.
